Pixie cut: three different ways of wearing it

HAIR TRENDS

Who says a short cut can’t be versatile? Here are some styling tips to for this classic look.

Many women dream of trying the pixie cut, but worry about the lack of versatility from such a short hairstyle. In reality, the pixie cut has been iconic for modern icons like Charlize Theron and Audrey Hepburn for a reason: it enhances the eyes and adds instant drama to your look. Despite being a bolder cut, you can still play with your styling to make it more classic or rebellious, androgynous or feminine, depending on what look you’re going for. Here are our tips to give your pixie cut a different spirit every time.

The simplest and most feminine way of wearing the pixie cut. Our suggestion is to shampoo the hair and apply anti-frizz conditioner, then dry brushing it into the desired position. No extra products: just the essential.

This super-short cut has a rebel soul. To obtain a “controlled mess”, use gel or strong hold wax. Take a pea size amount of product, rub it in your hands to warm and pass it through the hair lifting some strands to get your desired result.
