Davines Group has always been committed to developing products of the highest quality that meet rigorous ethical standards. In line with its values, Davines Group does not test its products or the ingredients used in its formulations on animals, nor does it commission or authorize third parties to conduct such testing.

Accordingly, in 2017 Davines Group suspended the registration of new products in China in order to avoid the animal testing required by local authorities as part of the product registration process under the regulations in force at the time.

In 2021, following the introduction of the new Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR 2021, State Council Decree No. 727), which eliminated the requirement for animal testing during the registration process for certain categories of cosmetic products, the Group resumed the importation of its products into China.
