Heart of glass offers a complete hair routine with five products: shampoo, conditioner, intense treatment, leave-on illuminating thermal-protective fluid and the new reinforcing extra-shine fast acting serum.
Both the shampoo and conditioner have a very unique colour: indigo blue.This vibrant hue comes from the natural extract of Jagua fruit which is sustainably grown in Colombia and represents our vegetal alternative to synthetic pigments.
The Jagua blue extract offers an illuminating action plus a delicate chromatic balancing of the shades and is perfect for all types of blonde.
It can be used at every single wash as there is no risk of chromatic overload.
The extract prevents the cold blondes from veering towards warm hues and the warm blondes from becoming even warmer.
It also revives the natural blonde hair’s shine, which could be under attack from the sun, the salt, the chlorine or the limescale, potentially losing gloss and vitality.

Heart of Glass Sheer Glaze contains a new natural active ingredient -patented at the Davines Labs - sourced from the Scandinavian fir. This "botanical shield” comes from fibres taken from trees grown in sustainably
managed forests. It strengthens, hydrates, and gives elasticity to the hair, shielding them from
the heat and helping the styling last longer.
BIACIDIC BOND COMPLEX
It’s a complex of molecules created and patented at the Davines Labs. It has an extraordinary effect on hair, strengthening them with a preventative action and repairing the damages at the same time. The Biacidic Bond Complex is present in Heart of Glass Intense Treatment and

BAOBAB EXTRACT, THE BOTANICAL ALTERNATIVE TO SILICONES
The Heart of Glass formulas are enriched with an innovative natural extract from Baobab seeds. This ingredient is the botanical alternative to the use of silicones, since it helps moisturise and discipline the hair, making it more nimble. The extract comes from baobab plantations grown and managed in a sustainable
way, in order to contribute to the economic development in Africa.
NEW ILLUMINATING AMINO CONCENTRATE
It's a natural and biodegradable active ingredient, composed by 7 amino acids present in the new Heart of Glass Instant bonding glow formula. It gives
the product a serum texture, highly moisturizing yet light and able to offer extraordinary shine to the hair.
Since 2006, reducing and compensating CO2 emissions has been our priority.
The production facility in Parma - where we create the Davines lines - is powered by energy 100% from renewable sources.
In fact, since 2006 the production site uses green electricity. With the opening of the Davines Village in 2018, we have also replaced fossil gas with biomethane and geothermal energy.
The bottles and jars of Heart of Glass products are made of 99% post-consumer recycled plastic, the black colour of the packaging is obtained with a special recyclable dye that allows the sorting and recycling process to be carried out.
The materials used for the packaging of this line are fully recyclable.
